What if the Super Visa application is refused?
Many policies contain provisions for requesting a refund when a visa is refused, but refund eligibility, fees, required documents and deadlines differ. Some plans require an official refusal letter, proof of non-travel or other documentation. Never assume all premiums are unconditionally refundable.
What if travel dates change?
Some insurers permit date adjustments before coverage begins, subject to their rules. Once the traveller has arrived, any change may have additional eligibility and waiting-period considerations. Notify the insurer or advisor promptly rather than simply relying on an earlier certificate.
What if my parent returns home early?
Early-return refunds, if permitted, are often affected by whether a claim has occurred, minimum retained premiums, processing fees or cancellation restrictions. Review the policy’s exact return and claim clauses.
